Bra Care 101

Congratulations on your new bras! We know you'll love them and look forward to starting each day with the underlayers you love. Bras are working garments (that can also be beautiful!) and they'll last much longer with proper care. Scroll for our best tips and tricks to keep your bras (and other delicates) as fresh as possible.

01

Own enough bras.

Bras last the longest when they are in a rotation. Wear one, wash one and have one waiting for tomorrow. At minimum, try not to wear the same bra on back to back days- the elastic needs to rest.

02

Hand wash them

At absolute minimum, wash them on delicate in a lingerie wash bag with other delicates. We recommend using Soak- it's a cosmetic grade wash that's designed for the fabrics and elastics that bras and knickers are made of. It's also great if you're a knitter or do other fabric crafts.

Never ever in the Dryer

Unless of course you want to buy new bras every few months... the dryer is the worst thing for your delicates.

04

Tighten as you go

If the bra you loved a few months ago is driving you nuts, the first thing to do is wear it on a tighter hook. That's what they're there for. Look for signs of wear- torn lace, loose hooks, stains and other damage and replace as needed.
